Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Aidam ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, including data you authorize us to access from third-party providers such as Google.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address when available, username, profile image, and account identifiers provided through supported login methods such as Google OAuth and Telegram Login
  • Discussion Content: Topics, messages, and uploaded files
  • Payment Information: Processed through our payment provider (we don't store full card details)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: How you interact with our Service
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
  • Cookies: Session cookies for authentication
  • Log Data: Server logs, error reports, and performance data

3. Google Account Data and Google Calendar

If you choose to connect a Google account, Aidam requests only the access needed for the features you use. You can review and grant or deny each permission on Google's consent screen.

  • Sign-in (email, profile): Used solely to create and authenticate your account and to show your name and profile picture in the app.
  • Google Calendar (view and edit events): Used only when you connect your calendar — to display your upcoming meetings, let you choose which meetings an AI notetaker records and transcribes, and create or update events on your behalf when you explicitly ask (for example, scheduling a follow-up or writing meeting notes and a recording link back to an event).
  • Google Sheets and Drive files (optional): If you enable the Google Sheets tool, it accesses only the spreadsheets you open or create with Aidam, to read data you point it to and write back the results you request.

3.1 Limited Use of Google user data

Aidam's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. These Limited Use terms take precedence over any more general description of data use elsewhere in this policy: the general-purpose uses listed in the How We Use Your Information section never extend to Google user data.

Content obtained from Google — the text of a Google Sheet, Doc, or Slide, or your Google Calendar events — is sent to a third-party AI provider only to generate the output you request (for example, a meeting summary), and only to providers whose terms prohibit training generalized models on submitted content: currently OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. It is never sent to DeepSeek, xAI, or any other AI provider. You can disconnect Google access at any time from within the app or from your Google Account permissions page; upon disconnection we stop accessing your Google data and delete the stored access and refresh tokens.

4. Zoom Account Data

Connecting a Zoom account is optional. If you choose to connect one, Aidam requests only the access needed to create and manage the Zoom meetings you schedule from the app, and the integration is used only when you explicitly pick Zoom as the video option for a meeting.

  • Zoom account identity (user:read:user): Read once when you connect, to confirm which Zoom account is linked and to show its email address in the app so you can tell which account a meeting will be hosted on.
  • Creating meetings (meeting:write:meeting): Used only when you choose Zoom while scheduling a meeting. The meeting is created in your own Zoom account, so you remain its host, and its join link is written into the calendar event. Meetings we create have the waiting room turned off and join-before-host turned on so the notetaker can join; you can change that on the meeting in Zoom afterwards, and we will not set it back.
  • Updating and deleting meetings (meeting:update:meeting, meeting:delete:meeting): Used only to keep a meeting we created in sync with the calendar event it belongs to — rescheduling the event updates the meeting time, and deleting the event removes the meeting.

4.1 What we store, and what we cannot see

We store your Zoom access and refresh tokens in encrypted form, the email address and account identifiers of the connected Zoom account, and — for each meeting created through Aidam — its Zoom meeting id and join link, so that the meeting can be updated or removed when the event changes. Tokens are never written to our logs and are never returned by our API.

Aidam does not request permission to read meetings, so we cannot access your Zoom meeting content, participant lists, chat, or cloud recordings. We do not sell Zoom data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

4.2 Disconnecting Zoom

You can disconnect Zoom at any time from within Aidam: we immediately delete the stored access and refresh tokens and stop accessing your Zoom account. A minimal record of the connection is kept so the app can show it as disconnected.

You can also remove Aidam from the Zoom App Marketplace under “Manage Apps”. Zoom then notifies us and we delete the connection record in full. Zoom meetings that were already created stay in your Zoom account — they are yours to keep or delete. Questions: dam@aidam.pro.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

  • Providing and maintaining our Service
  • Processing your discussions with AI models
  • Managing your account, prepaid balance, and payments
  • Processing payments and preventing fraud
  • Sending important updates and notifications
  • Improving our Service and developing new features
  • Ensuring security and preventing abuse
  • Complying with legal obligations

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

6.1 Third-Party Services

We share data with:

  • AI Providers: AI model providers that power the Service. When you message an agent, your message goes to the AI model you selected for that agent so it can produce the result you requested. Google user data — anything obtained through a Google API, including the contents of a Google Sheet, Doc, or Slide and your Google Calendar events — is sent only to AI providers whose terms prohibit training generalized models on submitted content: currently OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Google user data is never sent to DeepSeek, xAI, or any other provider, and before adding any provider that could receive Google user data we will update this policy first. We do not use Google user data to train our own models or any generalized AI models.
  • Payment Processor: Our third-party payment provider (for payment processing, billing, and fraud prevention)
  • Authentication Providers: Supported login providers such as Google and Telegram

6.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

6.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data is transferred.

7. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

  • Sensitive credentials and third-party tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • Secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Secure database storage with backups

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information:

  • Account Data: Until you delete your account
  • Discussion History: Until you delete specific discussions
  • Google Connection Tokens: Kept only while your account is connected and deleted when you disconnect Google access
  • Payment Records: As required by law (typically 7 years)
  • Log Data: For up to 90 days

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct your information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
  • Portability: Export your discussions and data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications
  • Withdraw Consent: Revoke permissions for data processing, including disconnecting Google access at any time

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies for:

  • Authentication and session management
  • Remembering your preferences
  • Analyzing usage patterns

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect functionality.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

13. GDPR Compliance

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing includes consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
